Worshipful Master of Westgate Lodge

had a very distinguished Masonic Career. After serving as Worshipful
Master of Westage Lodge in 1965, he was subsequently appointed as District
Deputy Grand Master. He was well know and revered around the state of
Florida and at one time seriously considered running for the Florida Grand Line
to eventually become Grand Master, but instead put his emphasis on the Order of
the Eastern Star and served as their Worthy Grand Patron. When the Lodge
was in trouble and needed leadership, he again took that challenge and was again
elected as our Worshipful Master in 1985. He then became active in the
Shrine, and worked his way up through the progressive line of Mahi Shrine in
Miami an served as their Potentate in 2003. He passed the celestial Lodge
while holding that office.
